I love to meet with all potential clients. During this 30-minute virtual meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, what your book is about and where you are feeling stuck. You will leave with your next steps to achieving your goals, with or without a decision to work with me.

If you are submitting a scene or manuscript, we will discuss deadlines and follow-up calls. If you decide to coach with me, I’ll send you available meeting times to choose from, scheduling a consistent time to meet. Contract and payment are due with submission of material or before our first session.

FAQs
Can I add a coaching package after I receive my feedback?
Yes! You can add the coaching package at any point, as long as there is availability in my calendar. We can discuss your options and the agenda during our follow-up call or via email.
What if I don’t have a completed draft but am stuck?
No worries! I can do a manuscript evaluation on a partially completed manuscript. Your roadmap would include structural feedback on your draft as well as next steps on how to chart your story forward. We can discuss the options and your goals during a free strategy session.
How does a manuscript evaluation differ from a developmental edit or a copy edit?
A developmental edit and a manuscript evaluation are similar in that they both look at your larger arcs of your story. A developmental edit is much more detailed, with notes within your manuscript analyzing exact texts and scenes. A manuscript evaluation includes an editorial letter pinpointing a general big-picture analysis of where your story is working and what next steps should be taken, but does not include inline edits. A copy edit focuses on line-by-line edits of style and grammar and does not focus on story.
